Reorder feature
Products from past orders can now be added directly back to the shopping cart via the customer’s order history.
SEO History
Easily set up automatic redirects from old or existing pages to new ones in the admin area to pass on, for example, Google link equity to the successor product if the original is no longer available for purchase.
"Lazy Load" for Images
The new Lazy Load feature now dynamically loads store images based on where they are actually displayed within the browser. This reduces the required bandwidth and improves performance.
DACH Mode
The new DACH Mode, which is enabled by default, allows the store to perform more rigorous address validation within the DACH region to prevent incorrect entries.
Purchase Order Number
For the ordering process, you can now optionally enable the entry of a PO number to assign orders their own external order reference.
New Password Encryption (Hash Algorithm)
The password hash function now uses a new algorithm to protect your passwords from theft in accordance with the latest cryptographic standards. This method benefits not only your customers, but also you as an administrator and your partners!
New Module: Product Designer
Due to high demand, we have now integrated the “Product Designer” extension into the store by default. The module is still subject to a fee due to the associated licensing costs, but now receives regular automatic updates through the store system. With this module, it’s incredibly easy to link complex configurators—such as a T-shirt designer—to the store.
Comparison Feature
Your customers can now conveniently compare up to 4 products of their choice using this new feature. This feature takes into account not only standard fields but also custom fields and options.
Live Shopping
The new live shopping feature allows you to present special offers to your customers in a more effective and visually appealing way. A countdown timer and event management enhance the FOMO (“Fear of Missing Out”) effect among customers, thereby increasing your sales.
New SEO/SEA Module: Google Merchant Center
You can now create as many label groups and labels as you like and assign them to products. This can be done either manually when editing a product or automatically via the Google Label Rule Editor, where you can define labels based on sales metrics, for example. The custom labels can then be used directly for your Shopping campaign optimization via our Google Merchant Center XML integration.
New Payment Module: Klarna Payments
The Klarna interface allows your customers to use various payment options. In addition to the traditional invoice, customers can also pay in installments. Another advantage: Klarna handles the entire payment process, and you can ship the merchandise directly.

New Payment Module: PayPal Installment Plan
The PayPal Installment Purchase interface offers your customers an attractive way to conveniently pay for larger shopping cart totals in installments.
PHP 7.4 Compatibility
The new XONIC Shop, version 3.2, is one of the first shopping cart systems worldwide to be fully compatible with PHP 7.42 and is therefore already prepared for the future!
Revised Master-Slave and Product Family System
The new product family display options allow you to link multiple individual products using the shop’s familiar attribute selection options. We’ve also reintroduced the popular product group system (families without a “master”) from V2 in a revised form. This opens up new possibilities for structuring your products!
Google reCAPTCHA V3
The new invisible anti-spam technology protects your forms from annoying spam and bot attacks using state-of-the-art technology and enhances the store’s existing internal protection mechanisms.
Primary Options
For each product with stored attributes, you can optionally select a primary option. This option is then presented to your customers for selection in the category view, so that the customer can see in advance that the product has multiple variations.
Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
Thanks to PWA support, the XONIC Webshop is one of the very first shopping cart systems to offer every user the option to install the shop directly as an app on their device. This results in significantly higher customer retention and increased sales. The icons, colors, and loading animations for the app can be configured directly in the XONIC admin area.
